I understand how many people in countries around the world naturally look to their governments to be in or have some control of what is going on in their country and to some degree, around the world. Now, in some countries where the Government and the rich are one in the same, it is obvious, but in other countries like the USA where the government is not necessarily comprised of the rich, it is less obvious who is in control. To control a very large body of people, and certainly world events, their must be a very powerful force. Setting up a government between the rich and a large body of people requires that a great amount of power is allowed. However, to understand world power, we must trace the true source of power.
GOVERNMENTS, ALONE... ARE NOT THE TRUE SOURCE OF WORLD POWER
The wealthiest people in the world today believe they hold the power in the world, and on the surface, it is quite evident that they may. Little known to the average man, but not completely hidden from some... these extremely powerful people, (connected by their great wealth), form groups to protect a common greed. During my work in the Pentagon, I remember listening to very wealthy people talking to Government leaders with quite career-threatening tone and authority.
Groups such as The Bilderberg Group, comprised of the wealthiest people in the world have frightening influence and control over international economic, political, and social events.
GOVERNMENTS ARE INFLUENCED, MANIPULATED, AND CONTROLLED BY THE RICH
Without going into conspiracies that make they're way into public media, let me just say that the power of the wealthy have clearly had control of historic events, and today they continue to plan and scheme on what will be done around the world to protect "their" interests. Meetings by this group as recent as a few weeks ago, have included among the attendees of previous years meetings, former President Bill Clinton; former UK prime ministers Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Margaret Thatcher; World Bank head Robert Zoellick; Fed chairman Ben Bernanke and US statesman Henry Kissinger. The Independent reports that this year's attendees include Jean-Claude Trichet, head of the European Central Bank, and Queen Reina of Spain. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is rumored to attend this year's meeting, just to name a few, but I do not get tangled by the details... the fact is that enough people are close enough to these events that we know they meet and that they comprise the wealthiest, and that they do hold great power.
THE RICH ARE CONTROLLED BY THE DEVIL
Not ALL rich people... but, for many, satan is the driving force behind the wealthiest people around the world to form such allegiances in their desire to stay wealthy. People who are controlled by greed... by their desire for what money seems to have afforded them, and because of this, they are under the control of the devil.
RELIGIONS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE DEVIL
Few people in the world today are aware of just how much satan has infiltrated organized religion. The Word of God warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:13-14 that satan and his false teachers always come to us in sheep’s clothing to deceive us …“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” Our only defense is the incorruptible Word of God. The Bible also warns us in 2 Timothy 4:3 that in the last days people will no longer listen to the truth.
WEALTH AND RELIGION ARE BOTH, TOOLS USED BY THE DEVIL
Revelation 13:4 and 13:8 tell us that ALL that dwell upon the earth will worship satan [the Dragon] and the Beast [the Antichrist]...“And they WORSHIPED the Dragon which gave power unto the Beast: and they WORSHIPED the beast, saying, Who is like unto the Beast? who is able to make war with him? ... And all that dwell upon the earth shall WORSHIP him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” We see much worship of the Dragon today... his control of both, money and religion has brought together a very powerful group of wealthy people whom assist him in pulling many (regardless of wealth) into a religion that robs people of SALVATION. These same people WILL easily worship the Beast when he appears onto the scene.
WHAT THEN IS MY STANCE
Well, If John saw these things and was told to write them, then it is safe to say they WILL happen just as he says. In fact, what we see today is aligned perfectly with what is coming. Do we stop trying to stop them? Not if God is using you to! However, since the focus of the New Testament leans toward reaching as many as possible with the gospel, then we should see most of God's effort NOT in fighting, but in reaching the lost. He seems to have an amazing plan for the new world order. Though I am not ignorant of what is happening around the world, I am neither alarmed nor interested in the events I see, because God is leading me in a specific area right now, and that is what I must pay attention to.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND
"Now after John was arrested and put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom of God, And saying, The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel)." Mark 1:14, 15.
The Jews in that day misinterpreted and misapplied the word of God, and they knew not the time of their visitation. The years of the ministry of Christ and His apostles, the precious last years of grace to the chosen people, they spent in plotting the destruction of the Lord's messengers. Earthly ambitions absorbed them, and the offer of the spiritual kingdom came to them in vain. So today the kingdom of this world absorbs men's thoughts, and they take no note of the rapidly fulfilling prophecies and the tokens of the swift-coming kingdom of God.
"But you are not in [given up to the power of] darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief. For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect)." 1 Thess 5:4-6
We are reminded and warned not to "Hate" those I have referred to here... only the evil being done. I really want to remind those whom will consider the things I have said here, not to get so burdened by all that is happening now with current affairs around the world. What we see happening today has been in the workings since the ark reached again, dry land! Thank for taking time to read this.
